n this video, I’ll show you a couple of methods I use to track and analyze my fitness data and tell you about a HUGE blunder I made recently due to my failure to observe years’ worth of data that I’d documented. I can’t believe it took me so long to begin the diagnostic data analysis, but hey—live and learn, right? At least I HAD the data…I shudder to think how things would’ve turned out had I not tracked it at all.

Famed author Peter Drucker wrote “You can’t manage what you can’t measure”, and he’s exactly right! If you’re truly interested in growth, you have no other choice but to prioritize the maintaining of accurate data records for whatever endeavor you’re engaging, and then routinely analyze that data—diagnosing, if you will—where things went right, and especially where things went wrong. Chances are, there is a correlation somewhere that you’re not seeing on a day-to-day basis, and that correlation could present a real turning point in your journey.

If you’re serious about fitness…or financial freedom…or your education…taxes…anything really, you simply must track your progress—ALL of it—so make a commitment to start today! It doesn’t have to be perfect, either. Just start writing things down and worry about the analytics later. What you need first, is DATA.
