When it comes to our overall body strength and fitness, our core is—quite literally—at the center of it all, as it resides directly in the middle of our bodies and encompasses all those muscles around our belt lines: abs, obliques, and lower back muscles. Ignoring any of these muscle groups could result in an imbalance of strength which can not only affect our posture and alignment, but it could also provide a pathway toward injury as well. Don’t let that happen!
